During the planning of this 1-hr BBC documentary, it became clear that an ambitious time-lapse sequence would be needed to best demonstrate the transformation of presenter, Dawn Porter from girl next door to glamorous cover star. The shot was created by photographing Dawn every five seconds over one hour’s worth of hair and make-up. Post-production included image stabilisation, motion tracking and the painstaking recreation of all the digital Photoshop retouching in After Effects.
