The Scott Trust, owners of the Guardian Media Group, sole purpose is to preserve the independence of the Guardian newspaper both financially and editorially in perpetuity. leafstorm were commissioned to produce this compelling documentary film to tell the story of the Trust, its fascinating history and the how this unique form of media ownership makes the newspaper a truly independent voice.

Filmed over a number of days in the UK and France leafstorm were give unprecedented access to members of the Scott Trust including Liz Forgan and Alan Rusbridger and the Scott Family including Richard Scott, the great grandson of the legendary CP Scott.
